hope all are well and travelling along nicley. I have noticed that this blog has been reasonably successful and is reaching its primary goal of keeping people informed. I have had plenty of positive feedback from friends, family, etc and I am pleased that its working.
I first thought starting up a Blog was 1. a bit nerdy and 2. a bit self indulgent, but I have always intended to make this place an interesting, informative and 'not another runners' Blog!!
So Cheers and keep the feedback (good and bad) coming.
As a result here is a little shout out to some of people who have been in touch regarding the Blog (in no particular order!)
* Of course, Mum has said... "It's great Darling, well done, very good!"
* Nate 'Red Nut' Hartigan has asked for more pictures to account for him being more of a visual person!
* Ev Rees has mentioned that his attention span is just long enough to read the full blog without getting bored.
* Old Mentone Aths club members, Matt Hanrahan (living in Scotland) and Matt Brown (living in London, UK) have checked in and passed on their positive feedback
* Shaun 'I am not 5ft 8' Krawitz was my first member/follower...word up!
* Others have mentioned they like the music recommendations and through other social medias been keeping a check on the Blog, so cheers to ya all. Keep it coming
Looking ahead I am off to Davos tomorrow for a school Grade 3 Ski Trip for a couple of days, my role there will be to ensure no one gets hurt and ensuring there is no tears or home sickness at night, as most of these kids will be spending their first nights away from home... We will be aiming to ensure they are so tired from the days activities that they can't think of missing their Teddy bears at home!
I will be able to get out for a bit of altitude (the town is at 1596m above sea level) Endurance running on the Cross Country trails up there in between it all, and hopefully catch up on a bit of work while I am there too in the Alps.
This week I have been listening to this one... have a look!
